Using humor, insight, and clarity, my talks and workshops help participants gain the tools to take a fresh look at their lives, their work spaces, and their activities. Participants will be able to take back their space and time, while having the skills to maintain their newfound freedom.
- Letting Go of What’s Holding You Back. In this workshop, we will take a deep look at the clutter in our lives. Clutter is anything (e.g., people, activities, objects, ideas) in our lives that is no longer serving us. We’ll see how clutter gets in the way of what we want to do. Each person will learn how to let go of the emotional attachment to their clutter, so they can release the clutter and move forward. This workshop takes attendees through the letting go process based on what’s currently in their way of success, and they will leave with simple and effective tools to support them for the rest of their lives.
- As You Are: Enjoying and Amplifying Your Amazing Nature. In this workshop, we explore the hidden value of our lives. Most of us have been trained to feel that we are not enough, and that we need certain things to be happy and fulfilled. We will discover the profound ways we are already more than we can imagine. Each participant will learn how to break the habit of thinking they are “less than” and the subsequent attempts to “be better,” and will naturally find themselves being grateful for their inner and outer treasures. Learning to cherish their As You Areness will help the attendees find the peace of mind they’ve been seeking.
Brooks Palmer was fantastic. In fact, he was one of the best professional speakers we’ve ever heard. We received several positive comments regarding the speaking event. One patron commented on how compassionate Brooks was. She said he never used the word “hoarder”. Many patrons completed surveys and asked us to have more programs like this one. Great job!

Brooks Palmer was the speaker for our organization’s Spring Workshop. His wonderful presentation on Clutterbusting was informative, interactive and fun. His stories, examples and suggestions on how to address our own “clutter” situations were tremendously helpful. I personally was able to take his tips and begin the task of de-cluttering my own office.

Brooks Palmer was a speaker at my Chicago YES! to Success seminar event. When we got the participant surveys back at the end of the weekend, he was a clear favorite. Everyone loved his unique angles on the far-reaching benefits of de-cluttering our lives and his practical tips on how to get the job done with the least amount of effort and stress! He was also a complete pleasure to work with. I whole-heartedly recommend Brooks as a speaker for your next event.

I definitely recommend him. His 'clutterbusting workshop' was incredibly popular, with over 100 people attending -- that's HUGE for our library! He provided a good mix of instruction, anecdotes, and compassion in his presentation. He started his talk by telling us to please ask questions as they came up -- so he can know what we need help with and tailor his stories and advice for this audience specifically. Everyone was engaged and enthusiastic. More than one person told me afterward that they just couldn't wait to get home and get started decluttering!
