I’m happy to say I’m alive and well.
Instead looking back, today I want to look forward. I don’t know what the future holds. I have no clue, but life is very exciting these days.
People ask me my plans, but I don’t know what I would wish for in the next five, ten, or 15 years. But here’s today — and today I realize that half of life is things that come to me that I don’t expect — maybe more than half. And the other chunk is the things I always like to do, like writing, public speaking, creating music (that picture of is me singing last night on stage to my new book), hiking, and enjoying my family.
This makes me much more alive than thinking, “here are my goals; here’s exactly how I want things to look in 5, 10, 15 years.”
There’s this big openness I feel. A big “we’ll see-ness.”
