When you’re feeling overwhelmed, confused, tired, it can help to take a moment and ask yourself, “What do I need?” And then listen to what comes up. Maybe you need a nap, or a glass of water, or a healthy snack or meal, or to exercise or stretch, or get a hug, or do something creative, so speak up about something.
There are multitudes of voice out there telling us what we need. We can get lost in the tumult. Or we can begin to listen to ourselves. It’s simpler and fulfilling and loving. Life begins to make sense again.
